Your job
As the Corporate Communication Manager for Norway, based at our Norwegian office at Lysaker, you will be part of our Nordic Corporate Affairs & Communication Team and report to the Nordic Head of Corporate Affairs, Sustainability & Marketing. The Nordic team consists of about 20 professionals working with Corporate Affairs (public affairs, corporate communication), Sustainability and Consumer & Marketing Excellence. You will be a part of the Norwegian management team, working closely with the Country Manager, regulatory affairs and the commercial organization in Norway on top of your Nordic Corporate Affairs team mates, and the Nordic marketing teams. As a part of a global company, you will also have many contact points at our HQ in Switzerland and our Zone Europe Team in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increase awareness and build Nestlé reputation in Norway. Proactively develop and implement effective Public Affairs and Communication strategies, in close cooperation with the Nordic Corporate Affairs Team and the Norwegian Country Manager.
- Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships. Be an external spokesperson and representative for Nestlé , proactive and reactive, in Norway towards NGOs, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Actively create content and engage in dialogue in our Corporate Social Media channels in collaboration with our Nordic team.
- Work with our marketing departments and customer managers to generate and implement new ideas and strategies.
- Work closely with the Country Manager and management team on reputation, internal & external communication.
- Be Nestlé’s representative in industry associations, liaise and be a spokesperson between Nestlé and government entities.
- Handle issues and crisis management.

Additionally, we expect you to say yes to the following:
- I have a university degree in communication or another relevant field of study.
- I have worked full-time with communication for at least five years.
- I have in-depth knowledge of the Norwegian media landscape and broad experience with social media.
- Experience from journalism and/or the food industry is valuable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
- A genuine enthusiasm for making a difference and contributing to the success of Nestlé Nordic.
