About the Team / Business Unit
Cognizant collaborates with all major hyperscalers and relevant software vendors in the data and AI space. This includes partnerships with industry leaders such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake, and Databricks. Our comprehensive approach ensures that we leverage the best tools and technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Additionally, we are supported locally by our dedicated Centres of Excellence, which operate both nearshore and offshore. These centres provide specialized expertise and resources, ensuring that we can meet the unique needs of our clients and drive innovation in AI and data cost effectively.

As a Data Scientist you would involve fetching information from various sources and analyze it to get a clear understanding of how an organization performs. The scientist uses statistical and analytical methods plus AI tools to automate specific processes within the organization and develop smart solutions to business challenges.
Your focus will be on collecting large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills. It is their responsibility to use data to develop solutions tailored to meet the organisation's unique needs.

- Construction: We partnered with client to automate design processes using AI, optimizing construction design and accelerating time-to-market by 70%.
- Financial Sector: We have implemented AI solutions to enhance regulatory compliance and privacy, crucial for the highly regulated financial industry.
- Smart Factories: In manufacturing, we have deployed AI, Computor vision and digital twin technologies to create smart factories, improving quality, efficiency and competitiveness.

Requirements
- Must have through understanding of basic concepts of traditional predictive modelling and modern deep learning
- Must have awareness of NLP concepts (such as tokenization, embedding, encoder, decoder)
- Skilled in identifying and applying the suitable LLM for a use case
- Experience of creating and serving "low code" Gen AI application(adopting AI agents)
- Python programming skills.
- Experience of Azure cloud platform in building Gen AI applications
- B2 level Norwegian skill is mandatory
