As a Field Service Engineer, you'll take the lead in planning and overseeing your daily field service activities independently. This is your opportunity to showcase your expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of Olympus equipment within our medical business unit. Your exceptional customer interaction skills will play a vital role in building partnerships and ensuring customer satisfaction. We convene regularly on Teams and phone to discuss daily matters or just share daily experiences, and annually gather for a company kickoff meeting, either in Norway or abroad. Most system training sessions occur in Hamburg, where you will meet field service engineers from various parts of Europe.

Tasks
- Planning and managing daily Field Service activities in Norway
- Installation, preventive maintenance, inspection and repairs of Olympus medical equipment ranging from endoscopic equipment to peripherals
- Close customer interaction and support to strengthen the partnership and increase satisfaction
- Product knowledge and quality assurance
- Training of customers and colleagues
- Knowledge sharing and improving transparency in the team
- Follow up on service agreements and implement Olympus' service concept
- The position requires frequent travel throughout Norway, involving an average of approximately 70 overnight stays per year. Travel will be by both car and air, with assignments in various locations across the country
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Service-/Data Electronik or equivalent
- Experience working on-site with hospital equipment is an advantage
- Experience with customer service/support
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Service-minded, flexible and structured work ethics
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Valid driving license in Norway is a requirement
