FP&A Analyst, Norway
Join us in an exciting role driving profitable growth in a fast-paced business.
We are looking for an FP&A Analyst / Business Controller to support our fleet and operational cost processes in Norway. This is a crucial role with a high impact on our businesses, helping to drive profitable growth and supporting decision-making that has a knock-on impact throughout the P&L.
You’ll be business partnering with our Fleet and Operational teams, providing reporting, analysis and insight to ensure they understand our cost base. Then turning those discussions into strategic forecasts of our business, and producing clear, insightful variance analysis on our results.
Welcome to the Scandinavian FP&A finance team.
Based in our Norwegian HQ office in Asker, you will be joining a team of three FP&A Analysts and one Senior Analyst working across our Scandinavian region in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen, and reporting into the FP&A Manager Scandinavia based in Copenhagen.
The FP&A team plays an important role in Avis Budget Group due to the nature of our complex business model and the fast-moving market. The FP&A team supports the three pillars of our business – the Commercial function focussing on driving the right volume of business at the right rate, the Fleet team delivering the right fleet at the right time at the right cost, and the Operations teams ensuring we have the right staffing levels at the right locations.
About you:
You have a degree in finance and are near the start of your career in finance roles, with some understanding of planning, forecasting, and reporting.
You are commercially astute, enjoy problem solving, are able to plan and prioritise effectively and have good attention to detail.
You will have developed strong analytical skills and be able to explain and communicate key financial trends to non-finance teams. These will be supported by excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and ideally experience with Oracle Essbase and Tableau systems.
Fluent English and Norwegian language skills required
