• Contribute to/lead the development and conduct of studies to assess the effects of public health and social measures for infection control (in Norway and in cross country collaborations)
• Develop funding applications for such research projects
• Be part of project teams for several research projects that are planned/conducted at CEIR

• Ph D in epidemiology, medicine or other relevant field
• Expertise in implementing infection control measures and/or experience with planning and conducting randomized trials
• Experience with quantitative research methods
• Fluent in English, both orally and in writing

• Experience with cluster randomized trials
• Experience with international research collaboration
• Experience with implementing infection control measures in low- or middle-income countries
• Experience with (successful) applications for research funding
• Norwegian speaker

• Collaborative (we work in teams)
• Creative and able to take the initiative and lead in developing new research projects
• Flexible (i.e. willing and able to carry out various task, as needed for achieving the overall aims of the Centre for Epidemic Interventions Research)
• Willingness to put in an extra effort, when needed
