Job Description
GE Vingmed Ultrasound A/S, a part of GE Health Care, is a world leader in medical ultrasound imaging with main offices in Horten and satellite offices in Oslo and Trondheim, Norway. We are now seeking intermediate to senior level C++ software developers to strengthen our R&D team within display and image analysis. You will join a global team of highly motivated expert engineers with a focus on topics such as image filtering, 3D image navigation, rendering, quantification/measurements, real-time analysis, AI solutions and workflow optimizations.In the position you will become part of a stimulating global work environment within the healthcare industry with excellent opportunities for personal and career development. Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing and testing high-performance C++ quality software in the medical ultrasound imaging domain.

Translate user requirements to extensible and maintainable software designs.
-
Leverage modern test-driven development (TDD) techniques to produce high quality C++ code with good unit, regression, and system test coverage.
-
Apply refactoring techniques to improve the design, maintainability, and capabilities of the existing C++ code base.

Produce high quality technical documentation, adhering to the high standards set by the medical industry.

Contribute to global development projects within GE Healthcare.
Qualifications
We seek candidates having a degree within computer science / software engineering / medical imaging or other relevant discipline. We are looking for candidates with experience within the following areas:-
Modern C++ (14/17/20)
-
Test-driven development and Agile methodology
-
Software architecture and SOLID design principles
-
Graphics and user interface programming (WPF, Qt++)
-
Python
Desired qualifications:
-
Windows operating systems
-
Concurrency programming (GPU and multicore)
-
GPU programming (Direct X, Open CL, CUDA)
-
Computer Vision / Image Analysis / Machine Learning / Image Fusion

Microsoft Component Object Model (COM)
