Senior Engineer - Land Installation

For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Engineer - Land Installation.
The position is ithin the Land Installation department. The department has responsibility for ensuring the performance of all necessary engineering activities (documentation, planning, procurement and follow up) within the Land installation department Office location is Oslo (Exceptions can be made for Halden).

The position is ithin the Land Installation department. The department has responsibility for ensuring the performance of all necessary engineering activities (documentation, planning, procurement and follow up) within the Land installation department Office location is Oslo (Exceptions can be made for Halden).
Responsibilities:
The primary work task are, but not limited to:
Engineering
- Responsible for understanding and defining the scope of work for the land installation department from the project contract
- Responsible for identification of possible approaches and solutions on how the scope of work can be addressed
- Responsible for documentation of the solutions and present them to the project stakeholders (Project Manager, Client, etc.)
- Responsible for the documentation linked to the land installation scope of the project to be prepared and delivered according to plan
- Responsible for the documents linked to the land installation scope is according to laws, rules and regulations
- Report to document control and project planner on changes in the plan
- Verify that documentation from sub contractor is delivered on time
- Follow up on sub contractors deliverables
- Archiving of project documentation in collaboration with document control
- Prepare as-built documentation
- Participate in DIC and IDC process
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
- Ability to adapt to change
- High sense of quality and on time performance
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
Work Experience:
- Typically 0-5 years engineering experience
Education:
- Engineer with relevant education, Master/Bachlor or equivalent or experience with similar positions
Planned start date and duration:
12 months contract
