Senior Instrument Engineer

On behalf of our client we are searching an experienced Instrument Engineer who would like to work on an exciting project in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:

Planned end date: 31/08/2026

Responsibilities:
- Instrument design and follow up.
- Preparation and review of Instruments discipline documentation.
- Technical responsible for vendor packages including design, testing, review and follow-up.
- Produce engineering work packages.
- Multidiscipline Interface and collaboration with site.
- Site surveys.
- Participate in reviews.
- Include and manage data into engineering databases.
- Define and procure instruments related MTO.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for Instruments.
- Experience with offshore surveys desirable.
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English is required.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Instruments engineering.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree within relevant area. Long relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Basic EX course, 8 hours online or 22,5 hours in classroom.
- FSE high and low voltage with first aid.
- The candidate must go offshore if needed, and if an offshore course is not held when starting this must be completed if relevant.
