Allweiler AS – a subsidiary of CIRCOR – delivers pumps and pump systems to the maritime business in Norway and internationally. We cover sales and deliveries to shipyards and ship owners worldwide, both for new buildings and Aftermarket. We are searching for a Site Controller (m/f/d) – Norway to join its team at our site in Hvalstad.

Employment: Full time / permanent contract
Reports to: VP Finance Industrial
POSITION DETAILS
Self-directed and experienced Site Controller to oversee all financial and working capital activities in our Allweiler Norway sales office. The successful candidate acts as Finance business partner of the General Manager by driving operational excellence and profitability improvement actions in close cooperation with the General Manger. Furthermore, she/he ensures full compliance with all financials and internal processes & controls with SOX and Circor Policy. This regards he/she interacts closely with the VP Finance Industrial to drive continuous improvement at that entity.
You will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, cost controlling, forecasting, local SOX testing and financial reporting. The cost function includes responsibility for production and product cost controlling as well as overseeing inventory management and activities of the accountant and supports with coaching and with functional guidance to accomplish required accounting related process improvements
Principal Activities

Analyze financial results, commercials, sales office and product cost detail as well as all working capital drivers to accomplish the required transparency as precondition to understand root cause of trends and variances vs. Standard COS, PY, Budget and forecasts as precondition to develop and execute improvement potentials on ongoing basis
Perform monthly forecasting, SIOP and yearly budgeting
Support the local management team regards properly pricing based on insight gained by performed product profitability analysis and regards contracts with customers as far as applicable
Maintain proper standard costs and interacts this regard closely with the Controlling team of the mother company Allweiler Gmb H in Germany
Evaluate performance of site activities defined by the management of the product line Pumps EMEA and/or the local team to ensure achievement of all goals
Prepare and analyze all financial statements and coordinates statutory and SOX audits. Determine and maintain all accounting principles and processes and ensure compliance to US GAAP and local GAAP
Ensure proper reconciliation of inventory with local books, monitor proper inventory management and supporting the local Operations Manager to define required improvements actions, and support physical stock taking on annual basis
Prepare monthly reports of financial results, weekly/monthly forecasts and annual operating budget
Daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting to provide management with the information needed to gain the required transparency to run the business and improve results
Manage and obtain approval for all requests on capital expenditures and maintain controls on all sales office processes within required budget and prepare reports to summarize all business activities
Drive A/R collection in close cooperation with the Fin SSC India and the local teams
Assist management and executives to achieve all business objectives
Monitor all activities and ensure compliance to all corporate standards

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in financial management or an equivalent qualification.
At least three to five years of professional experience in a comparable position
Very good knowledge of English
Computer literate in modern ERP systems (preferable SAP), MS office (especially Excel)
Strong communication tools
Independent, structured way of working
High sense of responsibility, initiative as well as enjoyment of working in a team
Resistance to stress
Can do and will do attitude
Strong analytic skills
