Travelling Service Technician

The Norwegian service department with headquarters in Trondheim is responsible for the service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in Norway. The department has an open and informal culture where teamwork and good communication are the keys to our achievement
We are looking for traveling technicians who are independent and solution oriented. Your responsibility will primarily be:
- Work on travel rotation in Norway and take ownership of the parks
- Preventive replacement of wearing parts on wind turbines, mechanically as well as electrically
- Troubleshooting and error correction of wind turbines
- Annual service on the park's wind turbines
- Work to achieve the least possible downtime
- Be an expert in your field and support and assist other technicians developing their skills & experience
We are looking for internal Vestas Service Technician who have:
- Solid experience as C- or B-level technician
- Electrical certificate before Group L, energy fitter, or mechanical educated
- Min. 5 years' work experience
- Driver's license B is a requirement, license for snowmobile or BE is an additional advantage
- English language skills, oral and written
- Good competence with PC as a tool, as we work with a lot of different systems
- Good at working separately, and in teams
- Clear in your communication
- Solution-oriented with a positive attitude
- High focus on safety
- Good physical shape
- Comfortable working at height
