Are you our new VESSEL SUPERINTENDENT?
We are looking for a new Vessel Superintendent to join our technical team, a working environment consisting of highly skilled, positive and enthusiastic employees. In this role, your main responsibility will be the technical management of allocated vessels. This will include, but not be limited to, following up maintenance plans and technical budgets, including planning and execution of yard stays and follow up class- and flag state requirements. You will monitor and report the vessel's technical performance and initiate immediate and corrective actions as required. You will also be a contact point for vessels in day-to-day operations when related to technical management activities. This position works closely with other business processes functions in a fast changing, dynamic industry - where there will be plenty of opportunity to grow, apply your knowledge, skills and experience in DOF's core activities. Location
This role will be based in our office at Storebø or Bergen, depending on the candidate.

Location

Requirements
- University degree within Maritime studies (Marine/ Machinery/ Navigation) or background as Chief Engineer or Captain
- Relevant experience from ship management and/or as a Chief Engineer or Captain. Experience as Vessel Superintendent is highly desirable
- Works both independently and cooperative in teams
- Can effectively prioritize and deliver within deadlines
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
