Ågotnes
FULL TIME
August 14, 2024
Join us as our new Warehouse Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join us in supporting DOFs supply chain activities. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth logistics operations and maintaining compliance with our departmental procedures.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will assist with the administration of project equipment logistics, including the mobilization and demobilization of project equipment at the Warehouse or Norwegian Ports. You will handle logistics and customs requirements for shipments to and from various global locations, ensuring the safe and proper storage of goods. General housekeeping in the Warehouse and Stores will also be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with our procedures.
Your tasks will involve interfacing with Project Managers regarding project logistics, raising requisitions in our purchasing system, and updating the Asset Register. You will also interface with customers and suppliers, manage goods receipting of materials and services, and liaise with Marine and Freight Forwarding Agents. Preparing goods for onward shipment to vessel locations, compiling manifests, packing lists, and commercial invoices will be part of your daily routine. Additionally, you will provide support and deliver services to our internal customers.
DOF is moving its storage from Bergen to Ågotnes, and you will play a key role in this transition. This move represents a significant step in our commitment to improving our logistics and storage capabilities.
