Your New Role
As a Warehouse Operative in the Supply Chain team, you will play a crucial role in handling, checking, and recording goods in and out of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include servicing customer orders promptly while upholding all Survitec safety standards. This position is at the heart of our customer order fulfilment process and requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Handle goods in, ensuring items are delivered as ordered and accurately recorded.
- Store items according to Survitec standards, following safe handling procedures and proper use of machinery.
- Pick and pack goods based on customer or service station orders, recording work using Survitec inventory systems and processes.
- Load and unload pallets and goods efficiently and safely.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, completing necessary paperwork and updating systems as required.
- Transport goods and supplies on-site or to other locations and customers, ensuring on-time delivery and following established procedures.
- Perform inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records, adhering to established procedures.
- Operate various equipment and machines, making adjustments for efficiency and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Follow mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment, to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of self and others.
- Develop and maintain excellent operational skills through training, coaching, and assessment activities.
- Acquire knowledge of Survitec policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes to deliver work that meets operational and safety standards.
- Foster a team environment where everyone can embrace the Survitec Values and contribute to an inclusive and respectful workplace.
- Uphold a safety-first culture within Survitec and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to Secondary school level with 5 GCSEs or equivalent
