The Role:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the installation, testing, maintenance, repair, and certification of Survitec fire and safety systems. You will deliver high-quality service while maintaining operational efficiency and safety. Additionally, you will train vessel crews on proper equipment use and be responsible for issuing certification for fire safety solutions.

The Role:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the installation, testing, maintenance, repair, and certification of Survitec fire and safety systems. You will deliver high-quality service while maintaining operational efficiency and safety. Additionally, you will train vessel crews on proper equipment use and be responsible for issuing certification for fire safety solutions.
Commissioning Engineer’s Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect fire safety systems on customer vessels to ensure compliance with Survitec standards.
- Install, commission, maintain, and refit Survitec equipment, ensuring safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Identify and suggest process improvements and contribute to solving issues that may affect performance.
- Provide expert technical support, answering customer queries related to fire safety equipment.
- Train vessel crews in the safe operation and testing of fire safety systems.
- Record all installation, test, and certification activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide feedback to product teams to inform future developments.
- Maintain personal knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory standards, and Survitec’s internal processes.
- Ensure compliance with Survitec Health, Safety, and Environment policies to safeguard yourself and others.
- Accurately record engineering hours and resources for billing purposes.

About You:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant technical field.
- Technical experience in fire safety or related engineering roles.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision at a fully competent level.
