We continue to grow, develop and expand our business and in August of 2025 we will open our first warehouse in Norway, our Customer Distribution Center (CDC) in Vestby. Our wish is to reach more of the many people by becoming closer, greener and better. With this unit we will be able to improve service to our customers by reducing the delivery time to homes across Norway.

We are now looking for a manager to join our Logistics Operations Management Team. In this role you will lead your specialists and teams to secure high performance when it comes to operating and optimizing our automated solutions - and also lead the daily warehouse operations.

About this work area

With a proactive approach and an end-to-end processes in mind you will oversee that the daily operations are running smoothly and that issues are always handled in an effective and cost-conscious way.

To be more spesific about the role you will:

• Develop high performing daily operations with the focus on processes that interact with the automated systems by suggesting new logic and creating new scenarios securing the most efficient use of the automated solution
• Ensure that the operations team works in compliance with Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to HMS and the environment
• Secure agreed contractual service and operational standards related to quality and efficiency in automation operations
• Establish and constantly develop strong partnership and close cooperation with key internal and external partners and stakeholders
• Develop, communicate and follow-up strategy, business plan and relevant actions
• Lead and develop a high performing operations team

We think it is positive if you have relevant experience working in logistics operations and supply chain management in a distribution center or similar. We also believe that knowledge and understanding of how to navigate operations in a warehouse with high degree of automation is essential.
We see that you have leadership experience and strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken and a collaborative mind-set being able to build strong relationships.
