ABB Marine & Ports in Norway develop and deliver solutions for marine power, propulsion, and automation systems. We are responsible for deliveries of electric propulsion, power, and automation systems to various vessels within Aqua Culture, Oil and Gas, Passenger transportation, Windmill installation, Offshore construc-tion, and Navy. Electrical propulsion, data-driven decision support and integrated solutions for ship and shore from ABB are paving the way to a zero-emission ma-rine industry, providing greater efficiency and reliability to shipowners, and prepar-ing vessels to meet the demands of tomorrow. ABB Marine & Ports Service works with customers to ensure that our products and systems provide maximum per-formance. Our Service teams solve a wide variety of key industrial challenges. We increase productivity and reliability, lengthen product life span, and improve safe-ty. Critically, we also reduce costs, energy consumption and emissions. ABB Marine Service is expanding its team with a new position in the warehouse. We are looking for a structured and easy-going person to join our team serving Marine Service. Your responsibilities will be: • Warehouse responsible for Marine Service (spare parts and projects). • Purchase defined materials for warehouse. • Register and update incoming materials. • Packing and booking of transport. • Internal organization. • Communicate delivery times to recipient / customers • Responsibility for cleanliness and order in the warehouse. • Other relevant tasks as they arise.Qualifications for the role
- Previous experience in the Marine world (Ship installation, service, ware-house) would be considered an asset.
- You are sociable and committed and enjoy building relations both within your company and outside.
- You enjoy working both in a team as well as performing your tasks independently.
- Good computer skills, and you get used to new systems easily.
- LEAN way of thinking.
- Certificate KL B and preferably a truck driver's certificate.
