An Internal Auditor plays a crucial role in an organization's governance, risk management, and internal control processes. Here are the roles and responsibilities:
Key Roles:
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks that could impact the organization's operations and objectives.
- Audit Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan based on risk assessments.
- Compliance Review: Ensure that the organization complies with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Internal Controls Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Operational Audits: Review operational efficiency and effectiveness, suggesting improvements where necessary.
- Financial Audits: Examine financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present audit reports to management and the audit committee, highlighting findings and recommendations.
- Follow-Up: Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness.
- Consultation: Provide consulting services to improve processes and controls without compromising objectivity.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance audit processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing financial and operational information.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication to convey findings and recommendations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to propose solutions to identified issues.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with auditing software and data analytics tools.
Pay: RO700.000 - RO800.000 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
