The Role
Key Responsibilities: - Design and Implement Security Solutions: Develop and deploy robust security measures and solutions to safeguard our IT infrastructure. - Incident Management: Lead the response to security incidents, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats. - Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. - Security Monitoring: Monitor and analyze network and system activities to detect and respond to potential security breaches. - Policy and Compliance: Develop, update, and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and departments to integrate security practices into all aspects of the organization’s operations. - Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and security posture for management and stakeholders. - Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance security measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. - Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) - Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Power Shell. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
