The Role
We are recruiting for a Water Supply Design Engineer for a job vacancy for our client in, Muscat Oman. The role requires experience of the Design of Large Scale Water Supply projects. This job vacancy is for a full-time permanent position with a European Engineering Construction Consultancy in the Middle East. Salary & Benefits This is a full-time permanent position with a well-known engineering consultancy in Oman in the Middle East - A salary including accommodation allowance of 1600-2200 OMR per month. This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis and is negotiable for the right person. - In addition housing and transport are provided - Medical insurance cover is provided on top of the basic salary - Mobilisation flights and visa costs. - Single Status is available only for this position. Candidates can bring their family at their own expense once they have passed probation. - Holiday Allowance.

Requirements

• A Designer - Someone with Water Supply Design experience. We will not consider candidates who have project or site management experience, this is a vacancy for a Design professional. - Highly skilled in Water Supply Design with particular experience of some or all of the following: Water Supply systems, Distribution Networks,Transmission lines, Pump station,Pipelines chlorination systems, design of Water tanks and knowledge of Leak detection. Some experience of the Modelling of Water supply projects would also be an advantage. - Advanced knowledge of design packages for Water Supply projects such as Water GEMS and EPANET - Experience of working with Engineering Consultancy organisations as a Designer. We are not seeking Main Contractor candidates. - A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Design of the above areas - In addition, A BSc degree in a Construction related subject relevant to the position - An MSc is also highly desirable - Extensive knowledge and experience of the overall coordination of the design - Excellent English language skills. - That you have circa 7-10 years of experience as a Water Supply Design Engineer - That you have significant knowledge of software for the Design of Water Supply Projects. Please state in your email and on your CV your software experience - That you have the required Qualifications, A 3 years Degree Qualification in a construction or engineering subject and an MSc ( preferred).
