Summery
As a Sales and Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and negotiating Proposals for RFQ’s, as well as providing technical support to sales and marketing teams. You will play a key role in our company's success by securing new business and ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and negotiate bids/Quotes for RFQ’s, including bill of materials, labor estimates, and project schedules
- Have experience in LV Switchgears and low voltage equipment’s with a deep understanding of the entirety of the proposal process, and Integration of Subcontractors and Systems.
- Manage a portfolio of projects from start to finish. Strong commercial presence with the ability to influence and maneuver key stakeholders.
- Work well with international teams to drive customer-centric solutions and manage day-to-day departmental matters.
- Focus on improving sales team effectiveness. Add value by supporting international technical teams and develop integrated systems and tools.
- Align the team with all internal key stakeholders. Ensure task completion within agreed timelines.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures relating to business conduct.
- Meet all OEM ethical & legal standards with regards to commercial processes.
- Responsibly execute all international bids and proposals. Minimize risk in all outgoing bids.
- Diagnose, document, and solve customer problems with seamless solutions.
- Understand contractual terms & conditions and effectively negotiate with customers.
- B.Sc. in electrical/electronic/power Engineering
- 2 years proposal estimation and Switchgears, power control or related industry experience.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal.
- Experience preparing and negotiating for automation related projects.
- Strong business writing and communications skills.
- Strong grip on MS Excel.
