Sunridge Foods, one of the leading FMCG sector operate across Pakistan. We are seeking an organized and proactive Associate Manager, Procurement to oversee procurement activities in the baking sector. This role is responsible for sourcing and managing ingredients, packaging, and equipment to support the production of high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supplier management, and supply chain operations within the food and baking industry.
Location: Port Qasim, Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials (flour, sugar, yeast, oils, etc.), packaging materials, and baking equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the company while ensuring supply stability.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid production interruptions or excess inventory.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured ingredients and materials meet quality standards and compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Cost Management: Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards, tracking market trends, and adjusting procurement strategies accordingly.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data to forecast trends, analyze supplier performance, and identify areas for improvement. Report on procurement activities, KPIs, and cost analyses.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality control, and R&D teams to align procurement activities with product development, production schedules, and company goals.
• Vendor Audits: Conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to company standards, food safety, and legal compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, including implementing technology tools and strategies to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food or baking sector.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and relevant regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
