Position: Currency Rates Officer
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze international currency market trends to determine exchange rates for buying and selling foreign currencies.
• Ensure daily updates of currency exchange rates on internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with the treasury department to manage risk and optimize currency exchange strategies.
• Conduct market research to forecast currency trends and provide recommendations for pricing.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on exchange rate fluctuations, trading volumes, and market insights.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in documenting exchange rate transactions.
• Coordinate with financial institutions, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth currency exchange processes.
• Respond to queries and provide assistance to clients regarding currency exchange rates and related services.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to foreign exchange operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in currency exchange, foreign exchange markets, or a related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of global financial markets and currency trading.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the exchange industry.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in an exchange company or bank is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial tools and platforms for currency rate analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month
