- Manage and secure databases for integrity, availability, and performance.
- Design efficient schemas, ensuring legal compliance and best practices.
- Monitor performance, and implement backup/recovery to prevent data loss.
- Troubleshoot database issues, collaborating with teams for solutions.
- Optimize queries, indices, and updates for system performance.
- Document procedures and database activity for transparency.
- Must be proficient in scripting (Python, Bash), data security, and analysis.
- Certifications in Oracle, Microsoft, or similar are a plus.
