Sheikh Saleem Group of Companies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to lead our event management initiatives. The ideal candidate will not only manage and execute high-quality events but also drive business development efforts to expand our clientele. Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the event management sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct presentations and proposals to potential clients to secure contracts.
- Attend industry networking events to promote our services and generate leads.
Event Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement event concepts, themes, and plans from inception to completion.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
- Oversee on-site event execution, including staff management and vendor coordination.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for events.
- Utilize social media and other platforms to enhance visibility and reach potential clients.
- Gather feedback from clients and attendees to improve future events.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor event staff and volunteers.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proven track record of generating new business and building client relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
