Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter cum Paramedic to join our team at the Court Group of Companies, a leading builder and developer in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to fire incidents and medical emergencies on-site. This dual role requires proficiency in both firefighting techniques and advanced medical care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and properties.
Key Responsibilities: Firefighting Duties:

• Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergencies at our construction sites, residential complexes, or offices.
• Utilize firefighting equipment to extinguish fires and prevent further damage to property.
• Conduct search and rescue operations in fire-affected areas.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and participate in regular fire drills and safety inspections.
• Fire Prevention:
• Inspect company facilities to identify potential fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement and maintain fire safety measures, including fire extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems.
• Educate staff on fire safety practices and emergency evacuation procedures.

Paramedic Duties:

• Medical Emergency Response:
• Provide immediate medical care to individuals suffering from injuries or illnesses at the workplace.
• Administer life-saving procedures such as CPR, airway management, and use of defibrillators.
• Stabilize patients and prepare them for transport to medical facilities if needed.
• Patient Care and Transport:
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide continuous care until they can be transferred to a hospital.
• Coordinate with external emergency services for the transport and further treatment of patients.
• Health and Safety Support:
• Assist in creating and maintaining a safe work environment by participating in health and safety assessments.
• Provide first aid training and health education to staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Intermediate or equivalent. Preferably an associate degree in fire science, emergency medical services, or a related field.
• Certifications:
• Certified Firefighter (recognized by relevant authorities in Pakistan).
• Certified Paramedic (preferably with an EMT or equivalent certification).
• CPR and First Aid Certification.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in firefighting and emergency medical services, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of fire prevention, firefighting techniques, and emergency medical procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with potential exposure to hazardous conditions.
• Ability to respond to emergencies at any time, including after regular working hours.
• A strong commitment to safety and public service.
