Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager, Business Development, to lead and supervise a team within our Financial Markets division. You will play a key role in driving new business growth, nurturing leads, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership & Supervision:
o Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of Business Development Representatives.
o Motivate and coach team members to achieve individual and team goals.
o Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
o Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
· Business Development:
o Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned market segment.
o Qualify and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
o Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
o Negotiate and close deals.
· Customer Service:
o Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
o Build strong relationships with clients and address their needs and concerns.
o Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
· Market Expertise:
o Maintain a deep understanding of financial markets, including stocks, gold, and crude oil.
o Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
o Analyze market data to identify opportunities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
· Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Disciplined, organized, and results-oriented.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
