- Oversee the activities of cashiers and ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
- Train, coach, and develop new and existing cashiers on proper cash handling procedures, customer service, and store policies.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Resolve customer issues or complaints quickly and effectively.
- Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately, including handling cash, credit, and returns ,promotional discounts, coupons, or special offers are applied correctly.
- Perform cash register audits and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory control, including tracking items in the cashier area and ensuring products are properly scanned at the register.
- Communicate with the management team to report any stock issues or discrepancies noticed during transactions.
- Prepare and submit daily cash reports and sales totals to management.
- Help with the reconciliation of registers and any necessary paperwork or reporting for accounting purposes.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certification in retail or business is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling various forms of payment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
