Location: Pakistan (Remote/Hybrid options available)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Penetration Tester to develop and lead our penetration testing practice in Pakistan. This role combines hands-on pentesting with strategic oversight, building out a team, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct high-level penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and security audits for diverse clients, with a focus on proactive threat identification.
· Develop and refine our penetration testing methodologies, reporting structures, and client engagement practices.
· Build, mentor, and lead a team of pentesters in Pakistan, driving growth and ensuring quality across all engagements.
· Collaborate closely with our compliance team to ensure testing meets or exceeds ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other regulatory standards.
· Provide technical leadership and strategic input on security risks, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and offensive security, ideally with leadership or team-building exposure.
· Certifications: OSCP, OSCE, CREST, or equivalent certifications are required. Additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
· Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in network, web, and mobile application penetration testing. Knowledge of automated and manual testing methodologies.
· Leadership: Proven experience in guiding and mentoring junior pentesters, with the ability to build a high-performing team.
· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 frameworks, along with regulatory requirements like GDPR, NIS2, and DORA, specifically as they apply to Saa S companies.
· Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to deliver complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
