Group M Legal Internship Program 2024

Are you a university student / under graduate seeking real-life experience in a collaborative, fun and innovative Multinational? If yes, then read on!

As a Legal Intern, you will get a unique opportunity to work in the world’s leading Media Investment company. You will spend 6-12 weeks training and working in-house legal affairs department.

From day one, you will be immersed into Group M and our work culture and learn how we make advertising work better for people.

What to expect:

You will be in an extensive legal internship program for 6-12 weeks. You get the hands on training on legal aspects of the Company.

What your Day looks like at Group M:

Drafting and submitting documents in relation to SECP
Help the Legal team with Regulatory body compliances (including drafting PNOCs, cover letters etc)
Maintaining proper IMS of all legal documents, updating portals like Axon,
Conga etc.
Help with Compliances (including IFRS 15, red/Green Lists, Information Use control (IUC), Control sheets, supporting documents etc)
Help teams with client/vendor audit and provide ancillary documentation.
Maintaining excel sheets for all clients/vendors/NOCs etc
Keeping up to date with changes in laws/regulatory regulations
Help with Miscellaneous paperwork (scanning, printing, filing and dispatching documents)

Who are we looking for?

Students doing their bachelors in law and are currently in their second or third last semesters.

What you’ll bring:

Studies in Company law, contract law is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Great knowledge in Excel & Power Point
Eager to learn more about how an in-house legal department works

Interview process:

First Round:
Upon application – the undergrad will receive a screening call from the Group M PK Talent Acquisition Team

Second Round:
Interview from Manager Corporate Affairs

Final Round:
Reference Checks from fellow colleagues and professors
