Job Summary:
The patient relations digital coordinator will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the remote patient experience for our uk based nhs medical practices through digital communication channels. with a particular focus on practice websites, social media content pages and patient reviews.
You will be required to ensure that all communications are compliant with data protection laws and organisational standards.
The co-ordinator will work closely with the UK central team to ensure consistency in tone of voice and branding, escalate sensitive issues identified and contribute to the overall goal of achieving operational efficiency through economies of scale
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, particularly in a digital context, and be well-versed in IT systems used for large-scale operations. our goal is to considerably increase our portfolio of practices over the next two years and the successful candidate has the opportunity for future progression within the pakistan team.|
Role and responsibilities·
Digital Patient Interaction
Communicate To Patients Through A Variety Of Remote Channels Including Practice Websites And Social Media Platforms. Content Is Managed By The Uk Central Team And All Communications Must Be Compliant With Data Protection Regulations, Such As The UK’s Data Protection Act And Gdpr. ·
Data Protection And Compliance
Ensure All Patient Interactions And Data Are Handled In Strict Accordance With Data Protection Laws And Organisational Policies. Familiarity With The Nhs Guidelines On Patient Data Protection Laws And Confidentiality Is Crucial. As The NHS emphasizes‘ Patient Data Must Be Handled With Care And Respect, With Privacy Being A Fundamental Right Of All Patients’. ·
Escalation Process
Proactively Identify And Escalate Sensitive Issues Identified Digitally To The Uk Central Team Using Pre-Defined Templates And Protocols, Ensuring That All Escalations Are Managed Promptly And Appropriately. ·
Data Management
Use IT Systems To Monitor And Track Patient Interactions Across Digital Platforms, Analysing Trends And Generating Reports To Support The UK Central Team With Delivering Service Improvements And Compliance With Organisational Goals. ·
Consistency And Tone Of Voice
Work Closely With The Uk Central Team To Ensure All Communications Maintain A Consistent Tone Of Voice And Branding, Contributing To The Organisation’s Overall Strategy Of Managing Operations Efficiently Through Economies Of Scale. E.G. Ensure All Key Nhs National Campaigns Are Available On All Websites And Social Medial Pages. Manage Nhs Drivers I.E. Friends And Family Surveys, Patient Surveys Within Timescales Agreed. ·
Content Review And Quality Assurance
Regularly Review Digital Content To Ensure Digital Content Meets Quality, Branding And Compliance Standards. Collaborate With Uk Central Web Team And Seo When Required Eg. Improve Content Reach, For Routine Maintenance. ·
Patient Participation Groups (PPG)
Supporting The Central Team In Communicating Centralised Content To All Sites And Assisting Practices With Localised Initiatives I.E. Ppg Meeting Dates, Recruitment, Events And Activity Onsite To Build The Patient And Practice Relationship.
Qualifications and education requirements·
Previous Experience In Customers Service, Particularly In Managing Remote Communications Via Digital Platforms, Preferably Within A Medical Or Healthcare Setting, But Not Essential·
Strong Proficiency In It Systems, Especially Those Used To Manage Large Scale, Multi-Location Operations·
Familiarity With Data Protection Laws And Compliance Standards, Particularly Those Relevant To Healthcare (E.G. Gdpr, Uk Data Protection Act)
