In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

Job Description

• Price Collection (at allocated frequencies and from agreed sources) at agreed timelines to facilitate CMs, DMs, FMs, FOMs, KAMs, Buyers and SM.
• Visit different Markets on Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis to take prices of different articles & for PCS-2 & 4. furthermore information regarding new schemes, new price increase/decrease, newly launched products are provided.
• List of Metro Post Articles is provided by OM.
• Its price is taken from market & provided to OM. Prices are collected from whole sellers of market. Prices are also taken from companies.
• Revise Market Segmentation, based on size, frequent field visits to expand customer base.
• Conducting Price, source and quality comparisons between products available at competing outlets and METRO.
• Update price through GMS to implement the price decisions.
• Preparing reports for HO based on product category and market segmentation including wholesale buying & selling, distributor TP, METRO Price & METRO VC Price.
• Cross checking and verification of price accuracy.
• METRO Post Price Check
• Ad-hoc Price Checks
• Regular Price checks of Non-Food as well
• Regular Price checks of fresh departments
• Market Intelligence such as trade offers, Trade Promotions and New Product Launches
• Details of Contractual Branding Arrangements of Modern Trade

Qualifications
Intermediate (with 6+ years' work experience) or Graduation (with less than 6 years’ work experience).
