Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Project Intern who is ready to take on full-time responsibilities and grow within our organization. This role offers hands-on experience in project management within the healthcare IT sector. As a Project Intern, you will work closely with the Project Manager and team, contributing to the successful delivery of projects. This internship is designed to evolve into a permanent position, offering a clear career path for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Participate in project meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items.
- Support in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and schedules.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance project outcomes.
- Assist in resolving project-related issues and escalating them as needed.
- Learning and Development:
- Gain a deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Develop problem-solving skills by working on real-world challenges.
- Receive mentorship and training from experienced professionals to prepare for a potential full-time role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
