The Aga Khan University Hospital is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 secondary care hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care to patients with care needs ranging from basic to complex;
impart patient / family education;
plan health teaching sessions for patients / families according to their learning need assessment;
plan and prioritize care activities in given assignment as per patient need assessment;
perform hands off patients' bedside over, carries out special assignment and document;
provide high quality personalized midwifery care to all assigned patients;
plan and prioritize care activities in given assignment as per patient need assessment;
ensure timely, comprehensive and complete nursing documentation as per divisional protocol/standards.

Requirements

You should have:

diploma in Midwifery from an accredited nursing school with at least one year of experience with a valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
competency to plan and deliver care to patients with a variety of complex care needs
good communication and interpersonal skills
willingness to work in shift duties.
