Job Purpose
The role requires in depth financial understanding of external and internal environment to lead financial planning, management reporting and sustainability. Requires driving partnerships and connecting people across the organization to achieve GSK’s financial ambition at LOC level.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Masters / Professional Certification in Finance (CA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA)
  
• 5 years of hands-on experience in preparing, managing, reviewing and analyzing financial statements of mid to large sized corporations.
  
• Excellent Communication & Stakeholder management skills.
  
• Proficient in financial modelling, Power Point, strong analytical mindset, achieve deliverables and meeting timelines, multi-task capability, looking for simplification and process improvement initiatives.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual plan process at LOC level, deploying partnering team to gather relevant insights, developing financial forecast, presenting to area level leadership teams and ensuring complete and valid submissions in the GSK systems.
  
• Work with commercial, demand and supply, manufacturing sites on all business value drivers and growth opportunity projects as identified by the business.
  
• Regularly analyse opportunities for optimization in areas of pricing, volume, G2N discounts, channel analyses and SG&A to maximize the return for the Commercial and One P&L
  
• Provide financial insight to management on all spent areas to improve Return on Investment.
  
• Report on significant budgetary variances, identifying any remedial action that needs to be taken. Analyse the month end financial position, investigate variances and make appropriate adjustments, if necessary, in line with internal procedures.
  
• Support in preparation of presentation for the local board in the quarterly board meeting for actual performance against budget.
  
• Evaluating tender proposals, with a wholistic view on business margins and requirements.
  
• Ensure business sustainability & growth aspirations.
