Reports to: Head of Quality Assurance
Job Summary:
Provide support to Head of Quality Assurance, Validation team, Stability Section, Karachi Technical Centre, and responsible for all the activities taking place QC and technical problem resolution.
Principal Duties:

To make sure those activities in his area of responsibilities do not result in.
- Delay or non-availability of product.
- Delay in introduction of new products.
- Delay in implementation of CIP.
- Failure of the team.
- Compromise on quality GMP and GLP.
- To ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Direct the work activities of the raw material/finished product and microbiology work groups to ensure that testing is executed in a timely and compliant manner.
- Review of daily planning of QC Lab. (based on FIFO and priorities)
- Disposition of Raw Material, Packaging Materials and Finished Product within agreed upon lead time and priorities defined in meeting with Manufacturing/Marketing / Materials Management.
- Goals setting, review and completion at the end of every year.
- Provide leadership, management, evaluation, and training to all laboratory employees.
- Ensure all vendors have been qualified and adhere to vendor qualification standards.
- Review and approve protocols and reports such as Method Validation, Computer System Validation, Method Transfer, Process Validation, PQR, Cleaning Validation and Stability
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in analytical methodology and adherence to GMP and ICH compliance.
- Execute and approve all laboratory investigations.
- Review and investigate all laboratory data outside of trend.
- Responsible to oversee Quality Risk Management and Change Controls that comes under domain of QC and Micro Lab.
- Ensure implementation of stability testing program per SOP to assure compliance with shelf life. To identify quality issues related to product problem on stability.
- There is no Delay in implementation Non-Volume Related Activities (Training Schedule, Volumetric Solutions, Reference Standards, annual Calibration/Maintenance Schedule, LIR preparation/ER raise and Cleaning Validation activities.
- Plan and implement certification and reorientation schedule for all analysts and maintain the record.
- To maintain 5'S and lean lab in the laboratory
- Any special task assigned by Head of Quality Assurance
Minimum Qualifications:
M.Sc. Chemistry Preferably Ph.D. in Chemistry
