Winklin is looking for ".Net Developers" for one of its clients. The client is one of the leading banks of Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. This is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using .NET Core or
.NET framework.
· Develop robust and scalable APIs using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, or similar frameworks to facilitate communication between different components of the system.
· Implement service-oriented architecture principles to ensure modularity, flexibility, and reusability of components across the application landscape.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software architects, product owners, and frontend developers to design and implement APIs that meet business requirements.
· Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
· Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for microservices and APIs.
· Identify and implement performance optimizations to ensure low latency and high throughput for API endpoints.
· Implement security best practices such as authentication, authorization, and encryption to secure APIs and microservices.
· Implement logging and monitoring solutions to track application health, performance metrics, and error logs for proactive troubleshooting.
· Document APIs, microservices, and architectural decisions to facilitate ease of understanding and future maintenance.
Skills Required:
· Strong command over C# programming language and .NET ecosystem.
· Proficiency in developing applications using .NET Core for cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization.
· Experience in developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API or ASP.NET Core MVC.
· In-depth understanding of microservices architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
· Familiarity with SOA principles and experience in designing and implementing services that adhere to SOA principles.
· Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
· Knowledge of API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys, and experience in implementing security measures to protect APIs from unauthorized access and data breaches.
· Proficiency in working with relational databases like SQL Server or Postgre SQL, and knowledge of ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
· Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
· Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 6 years of experience in .NET development, with a focus on microservices and API development.
· Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.
