The Section of Infectious Diseases is looking for a dedicated Senior Research Assistant to support a study aimed at understanding treatment adherence in HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) patients. The research will be conducted at a tertiary care center in Pakistan, in collaboration with the National TB Program. This study will focus on identifying patterns of treatment default, exploring patient-related risk factors, and uncovering barriers to adherence through patient interviews.

The Aga Khan University is seeking applications for a short-term contractual role of Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Medicine.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

recruiting patients for the registry
calling patients over the phone to collect data
entering data into an online portal
participating in manuscript writing.

Requirements

You should have:

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public administration, or a related field from an HEC recognized university
at least 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research projects
excellent interpersonal & communication skills
demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities, Organizational and management skills
demonstrate teamwork, maturity & ability to work independently
good skills in computer applications specially MS office
ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking capabilities
ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
