Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior US Taxation Executive with expertise in US taxation to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of US taxation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and optimizing our tax strategy to support overall financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position. Stay abreast of changes in US tax laws and regulations, advising management on their implications and potential opportunities.
Compliance Management: Ensure accurate and timely filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns. Coordinate and manage tax audits, working closely with external auditors and tax authorities. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify areas for tax savings and efficiency improvements. Provide guidance on financial decisions, taking into consideration the tax implications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with legal, accounting, and other departments to address tax-related issues and ensure a cohesive approach to financial management. Provide tax-related support to other business units and departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or advanced degree in taxation preferred.
- understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with international US taxation
- Familiarity with tax software and financial systems.
- Strong project management skills.
