Job Description:
We are looking for a driven and analytical SEO Specialist to join our team at e Bay, focusing on enhancing our online visibility in the e Commerce space. As an SEO Specialist, you will work to improve our search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and optimize product listings across our platform. If you have 1 to 3 years of SEO experience and are passionate about the e Commerce industry, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for e Bay product listings.
• Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-converting keywords relevant to e Bay’s product categories.
• Content Optimization: Collaborate with the content and product teams to optimize product descriptions, titles, and meta tags for SEO best practices.
• Technical SEO: Identify and address technical SEO issues, including improving page load speeds, site structure, URL structure, and crawlability for better rankings.
• Review & Compliance: Conduct thorough quality control checks on daily created e Bay listings.
• Error Identification & Correction: Review listings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with e Bay guidelines and best practices.
• Quality Standards Monitoring: Monitor and maintain quality standards for the department, providing feedback to team members and suggesting improvements.
• Support & Collaboration: Assist with other departmental tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an e Commerce environment.
• Knowledge of SEO Tools: Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush etc.
• Understanding of e Commerce: Familiarity with SEO strategies tailored for e Commerce platforms (experience with large platforms like e Bay is a plus).
• Technical SEO Knowledge: Understanding of HTML, CSS, Java Script, and web development concepts that affect SEO.
• Keyword Research & Analysis: Strong skills in keyword research and using keyword research tools to identify ranking opportunities.
• Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze data, spot trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve SEO performance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver SEO insights.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on large-scale e Commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices specific to e Bay or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of other digital marketing strategies (e.g., PPC, content marketing).
