Job Description:
We are seeking two highly skilled SNF Billers to join our team with specialized expertise in nursing home billing. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in handling billing procedures for nursing facilities, including follow-ups, calls to insurance companies, payment posting, and bill submissions through various portals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire billing process for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), including the submission of claims, follow-up on pending claims, and resolution of any issues.
• Post payments accurately and ensure that all billing records are maintained up-to-date.
• Handle follow-ups with insurance companies, managing denials, appeals, and resolving discrepancies.
• Submit bills using PCC and NCS portals, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
• Collaborate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to clarify claim-related questions.
• Respond to patient inquiries and ensure proper documentation for claims.
• Stay updated on changes to billing regulations and insurance policies that impact nursing home billing.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in either PCC or NCS is a MUST. The client is open to hiring candidates with strong experience in one of the two systems, as mastery of either software is crucial for this role.

Requirements:

• Ready to work in Flexible Hours
• Proven experience in nursing home or SNF billing.
• Strong understanding of insurance follow-up processes, claim appeals, and billing procedures.
• Experience with PCC and/or NCS is essential; candidates with expertise in just one of these platforms will also be considered.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple billing tasks, handle deadlines, and work independently.
• Familiarity with billing compliance regulations and best practices in nursing home environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in medical billing for specialized nursing care settings.
• Knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and familiarity with their billing requirements.
