As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer will manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including network systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate should possess strong AWS Cloud Infrastructure knowledge, along with a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices. Experience in US-based software houses or international BPOs is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Implement and manage VPCs, EC2 instances, and cloud storage solutions.
Cybersecurity: Enforce robust cybersecurity measures, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with best practices. Implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs to safeguard the organization’s data and networks.
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network components, including data servers, blade servers, workstations, IPsec, SSL VPNs, and cloud services. Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.
Network Management: Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and Forti Gate firewalls. Monitor network traffic, plan capacity upgrades, and optimize VOIP systems.
Data Backup & Recovery: Manage and regularly verify data backup and disaster recovery procedures to protect critical data on both physical and cloud-based systems.
User Support: Provide advanced technical support to end-users, manage account setups, password resets, and permissions in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
Security Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Software & License Management: Manage software licenses, ensuring compliance with agreements, and recommend cloud and on-premise software/hardware upgrades.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors for cloud services, hardware, and network infrastructure, overseeing procurement and contracts.
Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties to address network or security emergencies outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an IT Manager, Network Engineer, or a similar role with a focus on cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure_ (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.)._
• Expertise in cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, encryption, and threat detection.
• Prior experience working in a US-based software house or international BPO is mandatory.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as_ Hyper-V and ESXi._
• Proficiency in network protocols and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Sys Ops, CCNA, Comp TIA Security+, etc.) are a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
