Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting IPv4 network architectures. The ideal candidate must possess advanced knowledge of command-line tools, dynamic routed environments, and security management, playing a key role in optimizing and securing our network infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement dynamic IPv4 network solutions.
Network Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
Command Line Proficiency: Utilize command-line tools for network configuration and troubleshooting.
IPv4 Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to IPv4 addressing, routing, and services.
Security Management: Integrate and maintain network devices within global security operations.
Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, providing guidance and support on network-related issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, focusing on IPv4 architecture.
In-depth knowledge of IPv4, including CIDR subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and services (DHCP, DNS).
Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SNMPv3) and command-line utilities.
Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
