Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Wordpress Developer at Merik Solutions in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Wordpress Developer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, web design, and web development tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Should have strong ACF experience
• Complete Knowledge of Word Press & Woo Commerce architecture (e.g custom post types, Word Press Hooks, Shortcodes and existing Word Press functions)
• Should have strong experience with page builders including Divi, Elementor, WP Bakery, Gutenberg etc.
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, j Query
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
