Position Summary
An opportunity currently exists for a competent ‘Global Procurement Manager – External Workforce’ to join our global procurement hub in Panama City. Reporting to the Global Category Lead, you will take ownership of managing commercial and sourcing activities within the Corporate Services – Contingent Labor category. Your key priority will be to contribute to the formation of the category strategy and implement it on a regional scale (South/Central America) - utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies. In addition, The Global Procurement Manager will be supporting a second portfolio within the Corporate Services Team (e.g Travel….).
A day in a life of a Global Procurement Manager – External Workforce:
- Performing supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
- Delivering competitive advantage through the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for Services & Indirect categories.
- Negotiating contracts ensuring beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the category strategy.
- Managing relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes with local budgets and price planning.
- Leading the planning and reviewing of supplier contracts & SLAs with functional partners.
- Assuring synergies between various Nestle sites, directing all potential efforts to obtain best opportunities for cost optimization and fulfill company targets.
What makes you successful:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management and strategic procurement in a multi-cultural environment.
- Experience in the procurement of services, preferably in External Workforce or other Corporate Services (Contingent Labor, Travel etc.). Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
- Flexibility and mental agility are critical as you navigate the complexities and ambiguities of contingent labour in a multi-national environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills along with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a regional role, or experience across various Markets is desirable.
- Understanding of International/Regional Labor laws is advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
