Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional patient service, and supporting the administrative functions of the practice.
Duties
  • Perform tasks such as scanning, data entry and managing correspondence between our office and the billing company.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with insurance verifications and authorizations. Experience with various insurance portals is plus.
  • Will be trained as a backup for front desk.

  • Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new systems and improving office efficiency is essential.
