Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and lead our housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, hotel management, and custodial services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned and maintained according to company standards
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest and owner needs and requests promptly
- Handle guest and owner complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services
- Handle payroll for housekeepers
- Keep inventory Items in unit and in supply areas
- Ordering inventory as needed
- Managing and maintaining company budget
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, industrial cleaning practices, and housekeeping operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
