ABOUT THIS OUTSTANDING INTERIM OPPORTUNITY

• 25-bed | Critical Access Hospital
• Reports to the CFO with 7 FTEs
• Responsible for overseeing Patient Financial Services (PFS) operations for both hospital and clinic settings
• Charged with maintaining efficient and effective revenue cycle processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
• Designs and implements policies and procedures related to revenue cycle management, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws
• Supervises staff, oversees budget development, and conducts financial data analysis
• Collaborates with department heads and clinical teams to streamline workflows and improve overall financial performance

EXPERIENCE | EDUCATION | LICENSURE | CERTIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of management experience, plus 5 years of direct experience in hospital revenue cycle, with a strong focus on billing and collections
• Familiarity with Cerner Community Works is a plus
• A strong understanding of PFS processes, including billing, collections, and cash posting, is essential
• General knowledge of patient registration, financial operations, and data processing procedures
• Expertise in regulatory compliance for patient accounting, with in-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes
• Proficient in interpreting financial reports, contracts, and legal documents
• Demonstrated ability to foster strong working relationships across all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed with an option for hybrid-flexibility
