Position summary
We are currently looking for a highly competent Procurement Manager based in Panama, responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for the Marketing Content category. Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, your main responsibility will be to contribute to the formation of the category strategy and implement it on a regional level as required - utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in a life of a Procurement Manager for Marketing Content
- Contribute to global sourcing strategy with regional inputs, implementation and communication plan and supplier management plan.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
- Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
- Develop, validate, communicate, and orchestrate in a fast and consistent way the specific Content related Projects.
- Understanding "Pain Points" and areas of improvement and translate those into Programs / Projects Proposals.
- Overall management of the communication strategy for the Category and handle business planning activities.
- Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.
What makes you successful?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within complex procurement structures, ideally within the Content category at a regional level
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
- High learning speed and agility to navigate in ambiguity.
- Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to successfully lead projects and implement change in multicultural environment at different levels of organization.
- Experience in developing and delivering compelling value propositions to a complex business unit portfolio.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations is advantageous
