Home Helpers is a new private home care agency in Panama City, FL. We are part of the largest company within the Home Helpers franchises at a total of 30 locations to date. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to provide supervision of care in accordance with the clients’ plan of care and assist with required orientation and ongoing training for caregivers. This is a PRN position with a lot of flexibility to work around your schedule.
Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university;
• Must be licensed in the State of Florida or have Compact State as a Registered Nurse
• Should be skillful in organization and in the principles of time management and have knowledge of management processes.
• Must be able to contribute to the quality of care being rendered through constructive communication with caregivers and staff

Duties:

• Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of new and existing clients
• Composes an appropriate plan of care based on the needs of each client
• Responsible for caregiver supervisory visits and completes in a timely manner
• Facilitates new caregiver orientation and performs competency assessments on all new caregivers
• Participates in case conferences, discusses with the administrator any problems concerning the clients and how they may best be handled
• Discuss with the administrator the need for the involvement of other members of the care team
• Cooperates with other agencies to provide continuity of care
• Continually strives to improve his/her nursing skills by attending in-service education, through formal education, workshops and conferences.
• Adheres to all Federal, state and accreditation requirements including Medicare and Medicaid regulations

Benefits:

• Hourly Pay ($35) or $50 per assessment
• Fuel card and mileage reimbursement provided
• Flexible schedule (self-scheduled)
