Summary
As a Travel Nurse, you will be a vital member of the healthcare team, utilizing core skills such as catheterization, patient care, and nursing to deliver high-quality care to patients. Your premium skills in critical care experience, cardiac catheterization, and medical office experience will enable you to excel in complex patient scenarios and specialized treatments. With relevant skills in airway management, health coaching, and travel nursing, you will adapt to diverse healthcare settings and provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
-Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
-Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with medical procedures as needed.
-Utilize EMR and EHR systems to document patient information accurately. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
-Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care practices.
Adapt to different environments and patient populations while delivering high-quality nursing care.
Qualifications
- Core skills: Catheterization, Basic life support, IV insertion, EMR systems, EHR systems, Patient care, Physiology knowledge, Patient assessment, Tube feeding, Nursing
- Premium skills: Epic, Botulinum toxin treatment, Ophthalmology, Critical care experience, Cardiac catheterization, Cerner, Medical office experience, Long term care, Assisted living, CT
- Relevant skills: Airway management, Experience with children, Health coaching, Home & community care, Travel nursing, Inpatient, Specimen collection / processing, Athenahealth, e Clinical Works, Esthetic laser treatment
